Geographic Location Buram Locality is located in the southern part of South Darfur State, Sudan, approximately 95–110 km south of Nyala. It is an important rural locality near the border with East Darfur State and is known for its extensive agricultural and pastoral resources. Cultivation of food crops such as millet, sorghum, and groundnuts. Livestock rearing, including cattle, sheep, and goats. Local trade and small-scale economic activities. The locality has been affected by recurrent conflicts in Darfur, leading to internal displacement and increased humanitarian needs. IDP Camps Buram does not contain major established IDP camps comparable to those around Nyala. However, the locality hosts displaced people within villages, host communities, and temporary gathering sites. Number of major IDP camps: No major established IDP camps. Collective Shelters Temporary collective shelters have been established during periods of conflict, mainly in schools, public buildings, and community facilities.
