Al-Radom – 9 June 2026 The Al-Radom Locality Emergency Room officially launched a food basket distribution project in Al-Radom City with support from the South Darfur Emergency Rooms Coordination Council, as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support poor and the most vulnerable families and reduce the impact of the worsening humanitarian situation. The project targets 40 vulnerable families in Al-Radom City. The food baskets contain essential food items aimed at helping beneficiaries meet their basic nutritional needs. This intervention is part of a broader humanitarian response implemented by the Emergency Rooms to strengthen food security and support communities affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in South Darfur State. The South Darfur Emergency Rooms Coordination Council reaffirms its commitment to supporting local emergency rooms and strengthening humanitarian response efforts to reach the most vulnerable populations across the state.
