Kubum Locality Emergency Rooms have completed a drinking water tank rehabilitation project at Kubum IDP Camp in South Darfur State as part of their ongoing humanitarian efforts to improve access to safe water and address the urgent needs of conflict-affected communities. The maintenance work included repairing technical faults, restoring the tank’s infrastructure, and improving its operational efficiency to ensure a sustainable supply of safe drinking water for camp residents. The humanitarian intervention benefits more than 5,000 internally displaced people (IDPs) living in Kubum Camp, contributing to improved water services, better public health conditions, and reduced risks associated with water shortages.
